Mother's Day

Well another Mother's day has come and gone. It was a great day here at our house. Chocolate muffins for breakfast, I didn't have to cook dinner, or do the dishes, or discipline kids, and some chocolate ice cream cake to finish the evening. I do think that my favorite part of Mother's day is when the kids sing a special song to the mom's at church. I love seeing all of them wave to their parents and look right at them when they are singing, it's so cute. My boys got me a purple cali-lily plant that they picked out themselves. nd kevin gave me some new scapbooking supplies. Now I have no excuse NOT to get working on my scrapbook. Now today it's back to the same old, same old. The laundry that I put off yesterday can't be put off today, and I better start thinking of something to eat for dinner, and wash the couch pillow that my dog pee'd on, and give jay some more medicine sice he is sick AGAIN, and help Ty with his preschool homework, and mop my kitchen floor.....Nope, definately NOT mother's day today. I hope all you mom's out there had a wonderful day!

It is definitely nice to have a day off, but then it truly is back to reality. We had a great day with family on mother's day. We got home late and walked into a very messy house. I have been spending all of today cleaning it up. Awesome.

Okay, I think it was cheating to put mothers day on Sunday, don't you? We usually don't do laundry, bathrooms, vacuum, or clean on Sunday anyways. Glad you had a good one!

Glad you had a good Mother's Day. Kyla has bronchitis so I had to stay home with her while mommy took Aly too church. Yesterday Aly told mommy that it was Mother's Day again and brought her a picture. She then told mommy that every Sunday and Monday will be Mother's Day. I have my work cut out for me if that is the case.

I do love those little singing primary kids. Although our ward has more gigglers and wigglers than singers...Thanks for your nice comment on my blog!! It is so fun to keep in contact with you.
