Easter and The Zoo

Easter was pretty successful for us this year. We had two of my sisters, our brother in law, and Kevin's brother come for the weekend. We had a lot of fun coloring easter eggs on Saturday night. Aunt Kristi hid some eggs for an indoor easter egg hunt, and then of course we had a yummy lunch on Easter Sunday after church. Thanks for coming everybody! Holidays are pretty boring if there is no family around to share them with.

(As a side note: I heard on the radio yesterday that 70% of kids spent their Easter night sick from candy overdose......my children were NOT part of that 70%)

Yesterday Kevin was on his Spring Break. They had Thursday, Friday and Monday off from school. So we decided to take the kids to Salt Lake and go to the zoo. We stopped in Layton and picked up our sister in law Sarah, and our nephew Brian. It was SO NICE there. The weather was great. And even though Kevin was sick, and the zoo was crazy, we all had fun, and the boys loved seeing all of the neat animals.
